What our customers say about us...
“We loved our trip on the Canal and the Sunflower was
the perfect boat for our trip. We really enjoyed learning to handle
the boat the Staff were great teachers. The Low Bridge
team has put a great deal of thought and care into their canal boat –
from binoculars to yummy cooking sauces – everything was more than
ship shape! We highly recommend cruising with Low Bridge Charters.”

"As you know, we had planned for our canal journey on the
"Sunflower" for some considerable time. Those plans were enhanced by
your timely contacts to make sure all our concerns or questions were
answered. The inventory list was icing on the cake . . . we knew the
combo of Wayne and Sunflower was a winner.
The boat was a joy to be in. It looks great inside and outside. One
minute onboard and one knew the comfy and gorgeous interior was
going to provide us with a great floating home. Everything you
projected the Sunflower to be was absolutely true. And it must be
emphasized that everything, electrical, engine, controls,
frig/freezer, furnace, heads, water system (hot and cold), DVD/CD,
bow thrusters, etc., performed perfectly from the moment we arrived
to the end of our week long wonderful cruise. It was hard to pack up
and leave. It's great when the end result is a much better
experience than visualized during the planning phase.
We know you will always take excellent care of the great Sunflower,
and you'll hear from us whenever we next get that inner call from
the Erie Canal. Best regards and many thanks for making our journey
so enjoyable." -- Bill, Hillsborough, NC

"Margaret and I had a splendid trip. The boat performed as
advertised and the equipment on the boat functioned admirably.
The first couple of nights were on the cool side so we used the
furnace but had to turn down the thermostat in the middle of the
first night since the boat was too warm. The latter part of the
trip was warmer and we found that opening the windows did a good
job of ventilating and cooling the boat. We particularly enjoyed
the cheery yellow paint job on the boat. All the lock people were
very efficient and helpful. The bow thruster was of great help
around the locks and docks. The main engine started with no
problems each day and hummed along merrily all day. Skipper Bob's
guide book and the Erie Canal guide book were most helpful and
essential. We had a lot of rain but never did get soaked. The
canopy above the steering position kept the rain off us.
Margaret had no problems driving the boat and handled radio
contact with the locks and lift bridge. She was also our line
handler at locks and docks.
In spite of the current it was a very nice time of the year to
travel the canal. Very little traffic. Some days none. Like
having your own private canal. Certainly a holiday that we hope
to repeat." -- W. G. H Ontario, Canada
